The Idolmaster: Starlit Season for PS4 and PC Finally Getting News Next Month

Bandai Namco has been quiet for a long time on The Idolmaster: Starlit Season, but it’s finally almost time for some news.

Today the developer announced that a livestream which will provide new details about the game will be aired on October 6 at 8:00 pm Japan time.

No information was provided about the specific details that will be shared, but Bandai Namco has been completely mum about the game since the cancellation of the event scheduled for April 19 due to the COVID-19 emergency.

The game was slated for a release this year for PS4 and PC, and it’ll be interesting to see if the development team will make it by the end of the year of slide into 2020. We’ll also see if the delay might possibly prompt a cross-generation release.

If you want to watch the event, you can when it goes live thanks to the video embed below.

The Idolmaster: Starlit Season was initially announced back in January.

No western release has been announced for the moment, even if the launch on PC could possibly facilitate a localization. It wouldn’t be the first time that a series that normally doesn’t get localized receives an unexpected international launch by Bandai Namco on Steam,

If you’d like to see more, you can enjoy the first teaser trailer and screenshots and a second batch of images.
